| In 1966, our parents, Dot and Ed purchased a 28 acre piece of property
consisting mainly of strawberry fields and a small number of campsites. Having two
young daughters, they chose to name the fledgling campground Shel-Al after Shelley and
Alison. Over the years, trees were planted and many more sites evolved. Now,
three generations are involved in the day to day management of the business.
Sadly, Dot passed away in June of 2005. A memorial garden has been
planted in her honor and we dedicate it to her years of devotion to Shel-Al. |
